At Pecan Ridge Outdoor Center, you will find activities and resources for the entire family.

The Pecan Ridge Outdoor Center is a new club located on an old venue.  The former Pecan Ridge Golf Club has replaced greens, golf clubs, golf balls, and driving irons with shooting irons, Quail, Chukars, Pheasant, Waterfowl, bird dogs, and fishing poles.

And, we even have a number of Texas’s iconic Longhorn Cattle on the Ranch.

We offer fishing lakes, shooting ranges, and upland bird and waterfowl hunting. Our goal is to provide our range and fishing members with an opportunity to enjoy our pistol, rifle, and shotgun ranges and some of the best kept secret fishing lakes around, all at their own convenience in the company of like-minded enthusiasts.

We also aim to offer enjoyable and exciting hunt experiences for all who enjoy bird hunting.  

Our annual Tower Shoot features Bobwhite quail, Ring Neck Pheasants, and Chukars. They are quality healthy pen-raised and flight-conditioned to provide as natural of a hunting experience possible.

We have a 7-acre lake that many varieties of waterfowl visit each year. These birds offer the “Quack Addicts” a great hunting opportunity. We are situated in a flyway that is surrounded by thousands of acres of crop lands.

Ross Jones is the managing partner of the Pecan Ridge Outdoor Center and a guide for duck and quail hunting. Ross started off quail hunting when he was in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed in North Carolina in 1988. Ross gained his knowledge by hunting quail and duck with some of the bet bird dog breeders and water fowlers on the Eastern seaboard.

We invite you to try out the rifle/pistol range and the skeet/trap range, or take the day to fish in one of our three lakes.

During hunting season, we invite you to hunt for dove and waterfowl.
